Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking a KrazyKatz retreat.

Your Experience

What should I expect on a KrazyKatz retreat?

Each day follows a gentle rhythm: mornings begin with breathwork and meditation, setting an intentional foundation before the day's activities begin. The afternoon holds the heart of the retreat — a guided excursion, ceremony, or immersive experience unique to the destination. Evenings close with group reflection or a guided ceremony, creating space to integrate what arose during the day.

Groups are capped at 12 participants, which means Kacey knows each person by name and can tailor the experience to where you are. There is a balance of structured programming and free time built into every retreat — you will never feel rushed, and you will always have space to breathe and be alone if you need it.

Kacey leads every retreat personally as your primary facilitator. Her background as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker means the space is held with both warmth and professional skill. No prior meditation, yoga, or retreat experience is necessary — only an open mind and a willingness to show up.

Pricing

What's included in the retreat price?

The retreat price is all-inclusive for everything at the destination. Here is exactly what is covered:

See the full per-retreat breakdown and what to budget for separately on our pricing page.

The one thing not included is international or domestic airfare to the destination. You book your own flights and we handle everything from the moment you land.

Packing

What should I pack?

No previous retreat experience is required — and neither is specialized gear. The essentials that serve every KrazyKatz retreat well:

For Sedona and Peru: Pack sturdy hiking boots or trail shoes for uneven terrain, and sun protection (hat, SPF) for high-altitude desert conditions.

For Big Island Hawaii: Bring swimwear and reef-safe sunscreen — ocean time is a central part of the experience. A light rain jacket is also useful on the windward side.

Booking

What is the cancellation policy?

If KrazyKatz cancels a retreat for any reason, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.

For participant cancellations, the following policy applies:

Payment plans are available — please reach out before booking if you would like to arrange one. If you have any questions about your specific situation, email us at hello@krazykatz.polsia.app and we will work with you.

Preparation

How do I prepare mentally for a retreat?

No prior meditation, yoga, or healing experience is required. Kacey meets every participant exactly where they are — the work adapts to you, not the other way around. The most important thing you can do before arriving is simply set an intention for what you are hoping to explore or release.

A few suggestions that participants have found helpful in the week before their retreat:

One thing worth knowing: the deepest change from a retreat often unfolds in the weeks and months after you return home, not during the retreat itself. This is exactly why every KrazyKatz retreat includes a post-retreat integration session — so you have support as the work continues in your daily life.
