A healer rooted in purpose

Kacey Carrano is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience guiding individuals through profound personal transformation. Her work weaves together somatic healing, breathwork, and the restorative power of nature — creating retreat experiences that touch body, mind, and spirit equally.

Trained as a certified herbalist and essential oils practitioner, Kacey draws on plant medicine traditions from across the Americas and beyond. She has studied with healers in the American Southwest, the Hawaiian islands, and the Sacred Valley of Peru — integrating these lineages into a practice that is both ancient and deeply contemporary.

What sets Kacey apart is her ability to hold a profoundly safe and grounded space. Whether she is guiding a small group through a Sedona vortex ceremony at sunrise, leading a Hawaiian ocean ritual with a local kahuna, or walking the Inca Trail alongside retreat participants, her presence is a constant — warm, intuitive, and deeply trustworthy.

Her retreats are designed not as escapes from everyday life, but as laboratories for living differently. Participants leave with practical tools for nervous system regulation, a deeper relationship to their own body, and a rekindled sense of what matters most.

Approach

How Kacey works

Three principles that guide every retreat experience.

Somatic First

Transformation begins in the body, not the mind. Every retreat includes daily somatic practices — breathwork, movement, and guided body awareness — to release what words alone cannot reach.

Nature as Teacher

Each destination is chosen for its unique energetic signature. Sedona's red rocks, Hawaii's volcanic landscapes, and Peru's mountain medicine are not backdrops — they are co-facilitators.

Integration Matters

Real change doesn't happen on retreat — it happens when you return home. Every participant receives post-retreat integration coaching to carry the work forward into daily life.

Retreat Philosophy

Small groups, deep work

Every KrazyKatz retreat is capped at 12 participants. This is not a numbers game — it's a deliberate choice that allows Kacey to know each person deeply and tailor the experience to where they are.

There are no spectators in a Kacey retreat. Everyone participates, everyone is seen, and everyone does the work — whether that means sitting in silent ceremony at Machu Picchu at sunrise, dancing at a Hawaiian ocean fire, or crying in a Sedona vortex after a breathwork session.

Her style is warm, direct, and unflinching. She doesn't sugarcoat the work, but she also doesn't push. The retreats meat you exactly where you are.
